Preparing for a Second Century of Lighting the Way

Share:

During UCLA’s 100th year, people all over the world have been looking back with awe at some of the university’s most remarkable people and achievements. Again and again, Bruins have broken barriers and opened doors.

We’ve also been looking forward, which is why one of the ways we marked the century milestone was with the Centennial Campaign for UCLA, a fundraising effort which launched publically in 2014 and closed with amazing success during the centennial year.

Private philanthropy is pivotal to UCLA’s mission of education, research, and service. And to many of our donors, UCLA – the nation’s #1 public university – is pivotal to advancing their passions because UCLA has something for everyone. Donors give to support students, faculty, scientific and medical discoveries, health care, history, management, the arts, law . . . even kindness.

UCLA says thank you to everyone who played a part in helping us raise $5.49 billion , which will go a long way toward the greater good.
