[Update: After careful consideration, the UCLA International Centennial Celebration in Mexico City has been cancelled. We are deeply disappointed and did not come to this decision lightly. There are no confirmed cases of the Novel Coronavirus at UCLA at this time and the risk to the general public is low. However, the Los Angeles County Department of Health has confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Los Angeles County. Therefore, we are limiting travel and taking other steps to protect the interests of all Bruins in our worldwide community.]

Celebrate UCLA’s Centennial with Chancellor Gene Block as he leads a delegation of university speakers to Mexico City. This program illuminates UCLA’s historic first 100 years as we enter the next century stronger than ever.

  • Mingle with Bruins who share the pride of your UCLA experience.
  • Hear thought-provoking student and alumni stories told PechaKucha style to honor UCLA’s founding year of 1919 (19 slides, 19 seconds each).
  • Meet Miguel A. Garcia-Garibay, Dean of Physical Sciences, Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, UCLA College of Letters and Science.
