Join us at Grand Park for an unforgettable community celebration as we count down to the lighting of City Hall in blue and gold in honor of 100 years of UCLA. UCLA alumna and ESPN anchor Cari Champion will preside over the evening festivities, which will include lawn games, music by KCRW DJ Jason Bentley, the UCLA Marching Band, food trucks, and more.
The countdown to the lighting of City Hall in blue and gold will be led by Basketball Hall of Famer and UCLA alumnus Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Joining him will be Cheryl Lott, Alumni Association Board President.
We’re also bringing a special UCLA 100 airstream and mobile studio to the event to capture the voice of UCLA family and friends celebrating 100 years of innovation and impact in Los Angeles. Make sure to stop by and share your memorable UCLA moment with us.
The first 250 guests to arrive to Grand Park will receive a free limited edition UCLA 100 pin.
Special thanks to University Credit Union for its generous support and helping UCLA bring its centennial activities to life.
This event is free and open to all Angelenos.
